Meet the new print for Spring: Nautical Rose

There’s something timeless about stripes, there is something endlessly romantic about florals. This season, we wanted to bring the two together in a way that felt fresh, wearable, and unmistakably Gibsonlook! All of this is introducing our newest print story: Nautical Rose. 

Inspired by coastal ease with a feminine twist, Nautical Rose was designed to feel both polished and playful. The collection pairs crisp stripe detailing with soft floral elements for a print that feels elevated enough for everyday dressing, but still special enough to turn heads.

What started as a simple idea quickly became one of our favorite design stories of the season.

The Story Behind the Print

When designing Nautical Rose, we kept coming back to the idea of contrast, structure paired with softness, classic paired with romantic. Stripes have always been a staple in effortless dressing, while florals bring movement, warmth, and personality. Together, they create a print that feels modern, versatile, and easy to style.

And the timing couldn’t feel more right.

As we move into warmer months, we wanted pieces that could transition seamlessly from everyday errands to weekend getaways, from casual lunches to summer celebrations. Nautical Rose captures that balance beautifully: refined but relaxed, feminine without feeling overly precious.

Why We Chose Poplin

For this collection, poplin felt like the natural choice.

Poplin is a lightweight woven fabric known for its smooth feel, crisp finish, and breathable comfort. Traditionally made from cotton or a cotton blend, poplin has a tight weave that gives it a polished look while still feeling soft and easy to wear.

Lightweight, breathable, and structured in all the right ways, poplin gives the print a crisp finish while still feeling comfortable enough for all-day wear. It holds shape beautifully, making every silhouette feel polished and effortless — exactly what we wanted for this collection.

The result is a fabric that feels easy, elevated, and ideal for the season ahead.
