Hello and Happy New Year! 
I'm always working on being present because I get so excited by new ideas and planning how those will come to life. It's why I love fashion. In fashion, you're always 6-9 months ahead and creating, but as I reflect on 2023, I feel very grateful, and time slows. With that, I want to thank you for your love of Gibsonlook and your continued support. So many moments from our year wouldn't be imaginable without you! We are grateful you are here!

With the start of the new year, there’s a few thoughts that come to mind; reflection and growth, hope and aspiration, fresh starts and resolutions, community and connection, all while embracing the present moment. The New Year is not just a change in date; it's a symbolic fresh start. When I think of the new year, I envision a blank canvas! Diving into the above topics, we pulled our favorite quotes that will be on our 2024 vision boards and in our office for daily motivation and mindfulness!

Reflection and Growth
Reflection: “A thought occurring in consideration or meditation.” The New Year prompts us to reflect on the experiences of the past twelve months. What lessons have we learned? What challenges have we overcome? It's a time to celebrate personal growth and resilience.

I treasure this week of the year when the holidays wind down, time slows, and for a beat, there is only what was and hope for what is to come. I love gearing up for the new year ahead, planning resolutions, dreaming up trips, and new ways to connect. I love the seasons that guide the year along and the height of Winter to me, is the precursor to Spring and renewal.
