January… The month of new beginnings, fresh starts, long weekends, and when Winter is in full swing! The Gibsonlook offices are spread across a few offices, and while the Utah office is covered in snow, our LA office is covered in sunshine, and the Dallas and Seattle teams are getting rain! While there’s a few different ways you may be enjoying January, either at home, on the coast, or on the ski slopes, we are thrilled to introduce you to our newest launch; Coastal Winter, launching today! 

This collection was designed and created in the fall of 2023, while our team was inspired by the upcoming trends on the horizon, the free feeling of the beach, and the cool tones of Winter. We are excited to share our interpretation of them with you and how we aim for them to inspire you in your daily outfits! “Low Key Luxury”, “Open Stitch Knits”, “Natural Beauty”, “All Day Vacay”, and “Wardrobe Builders” are our key trends with this collection. 

Thinking about all that comes with the new year, reflecting, setting goals, staying cozy, kids going back to school, winter weekend trips and more; we knew that this collection would be the best way to kick off the new year and start fresh! 

Let’s start with our best-selling and quickly growing Ponte Knit category! A category of crowd favorites, we restocked the Essential Perfect Ponte Wide Leg Pant, as well as the Essential Soft Ponte Cargo Joggers, and our Belted Ponte Toppers. These pieces fit effortlessly into the Low Key Luxury and Wardrobe Building trends. Made to wear anywhere and everywhere, these items will truly carry you through the chilly season and into the warmer months. Light enough to pack for sunny weather and thick enough to keep you cozy, these are *essential* to any closet!

Style tip: If you’re looking for a neutral but don’t want to buy black, give Navy Blue a chance in the Wide Leg Ponte Pant! There will be lots of play with blue this year and we encourage you to give it a go! 

Next in the collection and key trends comes Open Stitch Knits and All Day Vacay! We introduced the Open Weave material back in 2022 in a beach pullover with Living In Yellow and it was an instant favorite. We are thrilled to offer the new Wheels Up Open Weave Sweater in this super soft material with more colors coming this month! Along with our Open Weave material, we have expanded our offering in our Open Stitch material. This fabric is designed to keep you comfortable all day, and timeless for your wardrobe. Launching in our Shawl Collar Long Cardigan, our Cap Sleeve Funnel Neck, our Roll Neck Sleeveless Crochet Vest, and the Slouchy Open Neck Pullover silhouette, we can’t pick a favorite! 

Style tip: We designed these tops to be worn (literally) everywhere! You can cozy up with the Ponte bottoms in the morning, and then swap those with your favorite pair of dark denim and a fun bootie or heel to go out for the evening. Getting ready just got that much easier! 

What we like to call our “icing on the cake”, are the 2 novelty pieces that also launched today! With the polarity of January and the different ways to spend your month between escaping to warmer weather or indulging in the chilly weather, we wanted to make sure you were covered no matter what. We started carrying Sanctuary in 2023 and are thrilled to continue our partnership with them through 2024. Today launched the All Day Long Sweater - a soft knit sweater that can be worn in the winter and beyond! With a pull-on design and stretchy material, it’s easy to wear all day (no pun intended) whether you’re going for an athleisure look or if you’re headed to the office! Today we also restocked a best-seller from Spring 2023; the Ruffle Sleeveless Striped Knit Maxi Dress! Meant to be paired with a fruity drink, sunglasses, and sandals, with a view of the beach!
