Introducing the In Bloom Collection
The moment you’ve been waiting for is finally here: It’s the launch of our newest collection, IN BLOOM! For this spring dress collection, we’ve teamed up with the amazing fashion + lifestyle bloggers, Amanda Miller of The Miller Affect blog and identical twins, Lindsay & Whitney of the Double Take Girls blog. Collaborating with these women was a dream come true!
Amanda has such a beautiful, refined taste and we’ve slowly grown closer to her over the last year. She had an interest in designing pieces for this collection, especially when it came to color palette and cuts. Amanda is laid back with an effortless grace about her, which makes for amazing photo ops!
The Double Take Girls are double the fun (yes, Lindsay and Whitney are twins) and they’ve been longtime Gibsonlook customers and supporters turned friends! They are the sweetest, family-oriented mothers who don’t let busy motherhood stop them from bringing frills and beauty (and typically something pink) into everyday wear.
All in the Details
We loved creating spring pieces with these inspiring women and seeing their style come through in the finished products. Speaking of products, let’s dive in…
This romantic dress collection, available on Gibsonlook, includes 6 different styles in 9 colors/patterns. As always, it’s a size-inclusive collection meaning the dresses run from XXS - XXL. We pulled from airy, floral fabrics + patterns that are sure to transport you to simpler times.
The Vision Behind ‘In Bloom’
For us, the title of this collection is more than just springtime budding into life – especially as this springtime looks a little different than seasons past. The Gibson In Bloom collection serves as a reminder that there is something beautiful on the other side of this unprecedented time, and we want to share the fresh feelings of the season and bring some normalcy back into life through this collection launch! Plus, who doesn’t love cute dresses?
We’ve also been inspired by so many people genuinely blooming during these difficult times while pushing through and looking forward to better days. There's a sense that people are trying to make the best of their circumstances and create positivity and hope around the world. Remember, the blossoms are coming into their full form, temperatures are rising, and outdoor moments are coming, so in a pandemic or not, embrace the beauty of this season.
We want to stop and (literally) smell the roses through all of this!
Little Spring Moments
In Bloom was also inspired by floral, feminine, flowy trends that align with the excitement of the coming spring and summer seasons. Since we’ve all been hunkering down in our “cozies” the last couple of months, we are confident it’s time to start talking about what to wear out!
We’re not necessarily expecting big parties or weekend getaways, but we want to reintroduce things like backyard brunch & small gatherings with loved ones. These are the little moments that we really drew from for this collection!
Backyard Brunch & Small Gatherings
On the topic of backyard brunch, check out these fun brunch ideas for your next backyard gathering! From the quiches to the summery drinks, there are so many fun recipes you must try! We’re hungry just thinking about them…
And backyard brunch isn’t just about the food. You’ve gotta have the right mood music and setup as well! Right now we’re loving John Mayor or Norah Jones Radio on any music streaming service. We also know that Spotify’s go-to brunch playlist kicks off with Beyonce, so we aren’t complaining. Whatever your taste is, a little mood music will whisk you away to that perfect spring moment!
Now that you have the menu, the music, and the mood, all you need is a romantic, flowy dress to soak up this picturesque moment. And starting Thursday, the In Bloom collection will be here for those perfect little moments.

Can you allow us to pre-order these collections. Love the clothes but they sell out so quickly. Just do not have the time to sit online to wait for them to go “live.” Perhaps it will be different now with the pandemic and related financial hardships for many of your customers.
Do you mean color palette?
