Reflecting on the conclusion of March and the transition into April, it's imperative to acknowledge the strides made during Women’s History Month, a period we proudly designate as Gibsonlook Women’s Empowerment Month. This is always an exciting time for us, as we expand our monthly initiatives and hone in on different ways we can continue to empower, inspire and excite you. Each day of the week we had a different theme, and loved every minute of it! 

Monday: Motivational Monday! Our team shared their favorite empowerment quote from a woman that they admire and shared their #ootd! 

Tuesday: Tuesday Top Seller’s! On Tuesday’s we highlighted the previous week’s best sellers. From a month-end perspective, we’re excited to share that these were some of our most wanted items! First and foremost is the Notch Collar Blazer, The Favorite Luxe Essential's V-Neck Tee, Cap Sleeve Funnel Neck Top, the Bohemian Summer Border Print Dress (launched in collaboration with Lindsey of The Motherchic!) the Kira Drawstring Midi Dress (the Navy sold out in a matter of days!) and the Courtside Open Weave Sweater! We're loving all the fun reviews and comments from you receiving your orders! 

Wednesday: New Arrival’s Day! Each Wednesday this month featured a new collection. We started out with our February 28th Natural Beauty Collection, consisting of enhanced neutrals, new blazers, linens and work-ready tops! March 8th (International Women’s Day!) we launched Dressed Intentions, full of pops of pinks, and pieces that will have you covered for any spring occasion. March 13th was our Beyond The Sea Collection, inspired by the blue and neutral tones of the beach, this collection was full of vacation-ready items to wear anywhere! March 20th was the day that Garden Party released! This collection was inspired by statement florals, spring colors, and all the fun Spring Occasions headed our way! March 27th rounded out the month with Peach Escape, featuring pieces that are both feminine and utilitarian inspired, with the color of the year driving our color story! 

Thursday: Blog Posts! We love getting to write these newsletters and share with you in further detail what we’re currently working on, who we're working with, what we're getting inspired by, launching, and more! In case you haven’t read these yet, they’re linked here, here and here! 

Friday: Feel Good Friday! Each Friday of the month we donated a portion of our sales to our Gibsonlook Scholarship Fund. This goes to local universities in Utah to support women looking to grow and achieve their academic and career goals. It is a continuous beacon of support for women throughout the year, and something we donate to beyond the month of March. By shopping with GL, you’re doing more than just supporting a woman-owned small business, and we are deeply grateful. We were able to attend the Utah Valley University Women's Success Center Luncheon and Fundraiser to make our donation and hear from students who have been able to benefit from ours and other's donations! Our Founder, Suzie is shown below with Astrid S. Tuminez, President of UVU and Trina, one of the board members of the Women's Success Center. 

Saturday: As Seen On! One of our favorite features to share, we took a look back at some of our favorite looks created by our influencer friends to provide some extra outfit inspiration and showcase the versatility of our items. We love to see how you style your own #gibsonlook, so make sure to tag us on IG so we don’t miss a thing! 

Sunday: Time for a Sunday Recap! Sunday’s have been (and will continue to be) a day where we recap that week’s happenings and new arrivals. An “ICYMI” to feature anything you might’ve missed in your feeds or emails!

To continue the excitement, we held our very first IG Live on Friday, March 8th! Our Founder and CEO, Suzie opened the live with a fun IWD message, and introduced our Brand Stylist, Sienna, and two of our models to showcase new arrivals and educate and inspire our audience on the versatility and details of the items, as well as styling tips on where and how to wear the items! We look forward to holding more of these in the future and would love any of your feedback! If you missed it, don’t worry! It’s saved to our IG here! 

To wrap up Women’s Empowerment Month, we ventured to Texas, uniting with our cherished customers and creators for a Women’s Empowerment Brunch. Connection and community lie at the heart of our brand. Adorned in their favorite Gibsonlook selections, every attendee had the pleasure of connecting with some members of the Gibsonlook Team, connecting with friends and meeting new ones, being sketched by an incredibly talented artist, which was an homage to their unique beauty and spirit, and getting an inside scoop on more exciting things happening later this month!

During this gathering, our Founder and CEO, Suzie Turner, greeted guests, expressing her profound gratitude and outlining her steadfast commitment to furthering our mission with unwavering passion. She also shared an exciting announcement, sparking anticipation throughout the room—a revelation we eagerly anticipate sharing with you in due time.

Sienna, our Brand Stylist and Merchandising Coordinator, excited attendees with a sneak peek of our forthcoming pieces set to launch soon, igniting excitement for what lies ahead.
